Blog postings can include links, video, file attachments, embedded maps, and more.

The clearest way to convey a message to a target audience then becomes the most important consideration. Rather than shoe-horning the message into the medium, even the most ad hoc presentation may take advantage of the full spectrum of web media choices.

In other words you get the full power of any word press style blog, in ADDITION to all the other content formats.

AND, the blog editing toolbar is about as vanilla as it can be. The tool icons generally follow the same concept and position as desktop text editors.

It is really difficult to understand how simple this is, without trying it a few times.
